2nd VB Worcestershire Regiment Edwardian Officer’s Infantry pattern SwordA rare 1901-08 example, the single-edged slightly curved blade decorated with EVIIR entwined cypher surmounted by a crown, regimental title “2nd VB Worcester Regt” and with etched overlaid initials of the original owner. The forte with the retailer’s details of “Hobson & Sons”. The hilt of the regulation pattern, the guard incorporating crowned EVIIR cypher, Shagreen grip with copper twist wire binding. Housed in original steel scabbard. Etching clear, blade with stain spots. GC. Hilt with some surface rust. HQ at Worcester
WW1 Royal Naval Reserve Officer’s Group of Three Medals.Awarded to “LIEUT R.J. HAMLIN RNR” Comprising: 1914/15 Star, “LIEUT RNR”, British War Medal, Victory Medal “LIEUT RNR”. Mounted as worn.Lieutenant Richard James Hamlin was commissioned in 1878 serving at HMS Worcester. He was appointed a Sub Lieutenant in 1905. During his Great War service he served a Navigation Officer HMS Gloucester. He resigned his commission in 1919 and appears to have been appointed a Lieutenant in the Infantry (Home Guard) 1st February 1941
A set of Royal Worcester porcelain cabinet cups and saucers decorated with fruit on mossy banks, signed by various artists including Lockyer, Phillips, Hart, Harper and Ricketts in original presentation case, puce mark with date code for 1918, with just 1 or 2 slight variations in date mark(cup 57mm saucer 97mm diam, one saucer has some crazing and a couple of very minor chips around circular ridge at centre.
