Set of six Royal Worcester coffee cans and saucers by Walter Sedgley, dated 1922-1923, painted with Golden Pheasants in landscapes, puce mark, four saucers signed 'Sedgley', one saucer damaged.Qty: 12Condition report:There are three cups and saucers each with bird facing left, and bird facing right. Four saucers are signed, no cups are signed.The one damaged saucer has a thin slither extending around approximately a third of the diameter. Some crazing to the underside of that saucer. Another saucer with pheasant facing right has evident crazing to both surfaces with one line extending perpendicular to the rim on both surfaces so should probably be treated as a hairline. All other saucers are good, free of any chips, hairlines, restoration, heavy scratching or evident crazing.Some cups have pinpoint areas on the rim that appear to have a touch of regilding. One cup with pheasant facing left has a 2mm scratch on the "rear" side of the cup. One cup with pheasant facing right is finely crazed. All three cups with bird facing left are finely crazed; one has a small pinpoint scratch towards the base of the handle.

The lower gilt band to the foot rim is very patchy - it appears that the gilding hasn't taken in the firing, exposing an orange-toned baselayer. It is very evident to the naked eye.

A Royal Worcester ginger jar and cover, hand painted with fruit, black mark to base, numbered 2826, signed P Stanley, height 17.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: Examined under UV shows no areas of damage or restorations. The base of the jar and interior of the lid has secutiy pen markings seen under UV. There is some very feint rubbing to the paint where the lid sits otherwise good.

A Royal Worcester Neo-Classical pedestal table lamp hand painted with fruit, signed by James Skerrett, black painted mark to base numbered 3762, height 30.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: No fittings present. Nothing clear and obvious under normal light. Examined under UV there are a few areas which might have been re-touched as there is some colour change, small white beading around the top section, a few areas near the grapes and peach show positively under UV and around the back ground. No signs of breaks or damages.

Cox, height 35 cm. CONDITION REPORT: Examined under UV. There are no areas indicating restorations or damages. The base of the vase and interior of the lid show security pen markings only visible under UV.

UV also shows security pen markings to the base of the urn and also the inside lid.
