Thomas Espin of Louth, FSA (British, 1767-1822), A View of Lifford Hall, Kings Norton, Worcestershire, the Residence of Mr Dobbs, with a spectacular Captain Cook`s Pine in the foreground, watercolour, 14 x 19cm (5 x 7in). Thomas Dobbs bought Lifford Hall in 1789; he was an engineer who constructed both the Birmingham to Worcester and the Birmingham to Stratford-upon-Avon Canals. Thomas Dobbs and his wife had three daughters are depicted in the present watercolour

These include |two second [size] Regent Bell-Mouth ornaments at a price of £1.4.0d. The Haytons returned the painted wares to the factory for gilding^ burnishing and firing.
