ROYAL WORCESTER; an approximately ninety-six piece dinner service, each item with a hand painted central floral decoration, with cobalt blue and gilt border panels, each with floral sprays and insects, the top central cartouche has the family crest of the Walker family, possibly of Blythe Hall and inscribed 'Cura et Industria' (Care and Industry), opposite the coat of arms there is also a cartouche with the monograms of 'CVW', comprising a large tureen, three oval platters, two planters, menu frame, large plates, side plates, coffee cups, tea cups, saucers, kidney-shaped bowls, etc, each item stamped with a Royal Worcester puce mark dated 1895 and retailer's mark for 'Phillip's 175 Oxford Street London' (approx. 96).Condition Report; To the best of our knowledge, there are approximately fifty-two pieces found to have some form of restoration or damage. In some cases ranging from a small chip to the underside of the rim, to extensive riveted repair. Items with damage include the large twin-handled tureen, nine plates, diameter 26cm, two oval platters, diameters 36cm and 43cm, six kidney-shaped plates, nine side plates, diameter 22cm, a large salad bowl, a menu holder, three coffee cans, two small tea cups, six large tea cups, an egg cup, a jug, etc.The items that have no obvious chips or repairs include six kidney-shaped plates, one large oval platter, length 46cm, width 38cm, twelve small saucers, diameter 14cm, ten large saucers, diameter 15cm, three dinner plates, diameter 26cm, a small oval platter, length 30cm, two side plates, diameter 22cm, five coffee cans and one small teapot.Of the good pieces there does not seem to be any crazing

12 Coalport figures, 4 Royal Doulton figures, 2 Royal Worcester figures. Condition- Olivia has some slight losses to the flowers where some of the petals are chipped, Miss 1929 has a chip to her hat and some drips of paint to base, Royal Doulton Birthday Girl has possible repair to base of candle, some figurines could do with a clean, otherwise fine.Coalport Harvest Gold, Coalport Lilac Time & Coalport Rose Blossom are all good with no sign of any damage or repair.
