A late 18th century Worcester porcelain potted meat dish, cracked, 13 cm wide Condition report Report by NG The dish has been broken in two pieces and previously riveted. Rivets have now been removed and two pieces are now bonded. Rivet holes have been filled as have areas of loss around crack and some of this has been re-coloured in blue. Top of one of sides damaged is open. Staining and discolouration to body. Scratches and wear. Pitting and pock marks from production also.
A late 19th century Royal Worcester reticulated and jewelled porcelain teapot and cover, in the manner of George Owen, the double worked body and spout with gilt stud work detail to the pink and turquoise ground, the cover with gilt double knop spear finial, bearing both raised and printed puce mark to base with the numbers 76 (1876?) 13cm
Grainger Worcester. A porcelain two handled globe vase in blush ivory, the upper half and handles reticulated in curvilinear patterns, the lower half with hand painted floral sprays. This vase bears the black backstamp of the Royal China Works, Worcester with the date letter I for 1899 during the period when the Royal Worcester company had acquired Grainger and Co. but before extending its standard mark and dot dating system to the Grainger output. Ht. 15cm. In very good condition, no chips, cracks, restoration or other defects noted.

Couple of larger chips to edge of plate, one crack at 9o'clock position and some loss to glaze around crack. Other plate is cracked, with some chips to footrim, wear to gilding and painted decoration and some scratching to glaze

A very rare Worcester blue and white Floral Swag, Ribbon and Scroll pattern coffee can, c.1755, painted with wispy floral swags tied by ribbons at each end with a scroll between, with a diaper and floral band around the foot, of 'scratch cross' type with an incised line inside foot rim, 6.3cm high, two rim chips with short hairline cracksLiterature:see Branyan, French and J. Sandon, Worcester Blue & White Porcelain 1751-1790 New Edition, Barrie & Jenkins, 1989, illustration I.E.51, p 285. At the time this book was published only four examples of this very rare design were known; one in the Dyson Perrins Museum lacking the lower border and a second in the Bristol City Museum and Art Gallery with a lower border close to no. 71 in the book. This example has a lower band matching the no. 70 border design in the book.
