A rare Worcester porcelain chestnut basket, cover and stand, circa 1770, the turquoise ground with painted and floral encrusted decoration with crabstock handles, the cover and stand with pierced decoration, the stand width 27cm, total height 18cm.Condition report: The handle of the cover has been rebuilt.There is a firing crack and two chips to cover flange/edge.The bowl is generally good with some black pitting and staining to the interior a few minor losses to the applied flower extremities.The stand has two chips to the foot rim, two hairlines to the edge and some losses to the flowers.
