A pair of Worcester vases; a pair of Continental candlesticks; Worcester inkwell; Worcester candle snuffer and a Davenport cup and saucer One candlestick with restored rim and some wear to the gilding. Inkwell with a small chip to the insert and some wear to the gilded areas. Remaining items in good order.
Good mahogany double fusee drop dial wall clock with 5-pillar movement, the 12" convex painted wooden dial signed Dwerrihouse Carter & Co. Davies Street, Berkeley Sq.e, with blued steel hands, within a brass convex glazed bezel and caddy moulded turned wooden surround, over foliate carved ears and geometric brass inlaid drop (pendulum and keys) *This clock is believed to have been installed originally at Pitmaston House, Worcester. The house was built circa 1810 by one John Williams, born in 1773 and died in 1853. He was a local pioneer in the application of science to agriculture. The house itself was described as 'a stunning example of Strawberry Hill Gothic architecture'. ROYAL WORCESTER; a large blush ivory porcelain semi globular vase painted with floral motifs and with gilt heightened floral border, on similarly decorated conical detachable stand on three paw supports and tripartite base, the upper part with Maple & Co of London gilt metal mounts (screw cover missing), both pieces marked in puce to bases, model 1590, date codes for 1892 and 1894, total height 43.5cm (af).Additional InformationThe rim of the vase with two chips to the mould rope twist lower rim, tarnish to the rim mounts, the stand: one part has a severe hairline crack running on each side (from top to base) the same part with chip to the front edge, another part of the base with hairline to underneath spreading from a firing imperfection spreading to one of the sides, the drop underneath the bowl has been broken off and crudely re-glued, the two major chips to the insides top rim, two further chips to outside and a loss to tip of the foliate scroll decoration directly beneath the rim, both pieces with traces of general wear such as rubbing to the gilt, minor surface wear, the leg attached to the part with extensive hairline running from top to base has been also broken off and professionally restored in the area of upper part of the acanthus leaf.

A very fine pair of Royal Worcester porcelain cabinet plates; both superbly gilded against a puce ground and with central floral spray in enamels and individually signed by the artist 'Freeman', printed marks to the underside, 27cm diameter CONDITION REPORT: The plate with the original lot number sticker appears a little dirty and stained underneath but this seems to rub off easily. Very good quality noted, the gilding appears very nice as does the signed vignette of floral spray. No cracks, chips of restoration noted. The other plate with the part lot sticker again is a little stained, dark and dark splashes to the underside which appear to wipe off easily. Also the gilding looks very good and bright and the floral vignette is decorated in enamels and signed. No chips, cracks, hairlines or restoration noted.
A group of four Royal Worcester porcelain figure models modelled by F.G. Doughty to include 'Young Farmer' (3433), 'August' (3441), 'March' (3454) and 'Grandmother's Dress' (3081), the latter figure 16.5cm (4) CONDITION REPORT: Grandmother's Dress - the underside of the foot is a little dirty. Dirty and dusty to the outside of the piece otherwise no condition issues noted. March - No condition issues. Young Farmer - Although a little dirty, no condition issues noted. August - All looks good with no condition issues.
Three cabinet plates, one Royal Worcester decorated with a still life of peaches and grapes etc., (signed), 27cm diameter, one further similar plate decorated with apples and black grapes (also signed) and an unmarked plate with cobalt blue border surrounding peaches, strawberries etc. (signed), (3) CONDITION REPORT: First plate with cobalt blue border and "serrated" edge has a few minor scratches to the cobalt blue border, the interior looks reasonable although there is an approx. 1cm scratch below the single right hand strawberry, some further minor scratching to cobalt blue border. The underside looks reasonable with no discernible cracks, chips, hairlines or restoration. Signed with the name Budd. The plate marked with the Royal Worcester mark to reverse and showing three peaches with greengages or gooseberries appears in good general overall order with the foot rim slightly darker through dirt etc., signed C. Lowe? The last similar plate (no mark to reverse) also appears in good general original condition. There is a small scratch to the left hand side beginning where it has been signed C.A. James? Other smallish scratches visible at close quarters to the paint work although the reverse looks quite good.
