Glover, WorcesterThe inverted caddy top surmounted by a knopped brass handle over a bold cornice, narrow glazed side apertures herring-bone inlaid door frame and a moulded base on block feet, the 7 inch square brass dial with engraved wheatear border framing the Indian mask spandrels and silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring with lozenge half-quarter marks, the finely matted centre with decorated date aperture and ringed winding square, with blued steel hands, the single wire fusee movement united by five knopped and pinned pillars screwed into the backplate, with knife edge verge escapement repeating the quarters on two bells and hammers on the pull of a cord from below the case. The example which is possibly Lowestoft with chip to the spout and a crack from the spout, numerous chips to the foot rim. The smallest example is heavily af with large cracks and losses throughout. The remaining example with crack terminating from the top rim also old repair chip to the rim.

A small saucer with relief and blue and white detail with chip to the rim. The larger tea bowl with iron red detail and old repair chip to the rim, staining and numerous chips throughout. No further visible damage but due to the extensive group nature of this lot, we cannot guarantee that every piece is free from damage and no returns will be accepted upon this basis. Further scratches, rubbing to detail, discolouration, etc.
Four pieces of 18th century creamware to include a baluster form jug with mythical beast spout, probably Leeds, painted with central sun flanked by stars and moon, with pseudo Worcester marks to base, height 15cm, a teapot of bulbous form decorated in iron red with figures in landscape, etc (4).Additional InformationThe bulbous jug with an old repair to the rim and spout, the handle has also been broken off from the body and repaired, heavy crazing. The mug with large V-shaped piece which has been broken out and reglued, crazing. The smaller teapot with old repair to the spout and joint, the lid with old chip repair and further repairs to the cover, cracks to the handle joint and chipping to the inner rim. The larger teapot with crack running across the spout, the spout has been broken from the body and glued back into place, scratches and heavy wear to the body, also a hairline crack to the body.

ROYAL WORCESTER; a 'Balmoral' sixty piece tea and dinner service.Additional InformationThe sauce boat is cracked, one of the milk jugs is cracked and has a large chip to the top rim, one of the side plates is also cracked, a couple of the pieces do not ring when flicked, although we cannot see any cracks to those items.
