A Flight Barr & Barr Worcester Vase, Circa 1820, finely painted with a view in Ashtead Park, Surrey, on gilt seaweed ground, with griffin head and ring handles, painted mark and Coventry Street address, 3.5ins highThe very tips of the beaks of the ring handles are chipped. One miniscule flat chip to the lower corner of the base. Some very light scattered wear to the edges of the base. One further miniscule flat flake to lower corner of the base. The gilt detail appears to be intact, and the enamel painting shows no scratching/loss/abrasions.
A Flight Barr & Barr Worcester Two-Handled Vase and Cover, Circa 1820, painted with seashells and seaweed in the manner of John Barker, on a gilt seaweed ground, painted mark and Coventry Street address, 6.5ins highCover - the knop has been broken off and is missing. Two very small areas of wear to gilt on edge of cover. Urn - a few very small areas of loss to gilding on shoulder of vessel. Small areas of loss to gilding on edge of rim. Miniscule loss of gilt to tail of dolphin. Some very light typical wear to corners of base. The remaining gilding appears to be intact and in good condition, and the enamels again are in good condition with no obvious damage/loss/scratching/restoration.
