Lot 797

Great Western Railway 12 inch mahogany cased drop dial trunk fusee railway clock supplied to the GWR circa 1900 by Kay's Worcester. The chain driven English fusee movement with rectangular plates and turned screwed pillars has been restored and cleaned to a good standard. The mahogany case with a four piece segmented wooden surround, two side access doors and a bottom door with the lock removed is in good condition and the GWR ivorine clock numberplate GWR 3305 is screwed to the left hand side of the case. The dial has been restored with the GWR roundel and has a spun brass bezel. In working order but not checked for accuracy complete with pendulum and key.

Great Western Railway enamel lamp tablet HARTLEBURY from the former Great Western Railway station between Worcester and Kidderminster. Measures 20in x 6in and is complete with top flange. In very good condition with a few minor chips.

Shedplate 85A Worcester 1949-December 1965. This ex GWR shed was home to 80 locos in the 1950s, including Bulldogs, Stars, Castles, Halls and Granges. Even in its final year it hosted 6 Halls and 5 Granges in a total of 24 locos. Partially face restored with clear Swindon casting marks.
