ENGLISH CIVIL WAR ANTI PERSONEL GRAPESHOT & BUTTON FROM WORCESTER. A scarce piece of anti-personel grape shot in the form of a lead ball cast around a nail, designed to inflict maximum damage when fired into a group of troops. Together with this is a bronze button decorated with a smiling face, both items found by a detectorist close to the site of the battle of Worcester. 50-70

A first period Worcester porcelain teapot, circa 1750-1765, decorated in the chinoisserie palette with Chinese figures in a landscape, h.12.5cm (lacking cover and with body crack); and a Lowestoft porcelain teapot and cover, of bullet shape, polychrome decorated with sprays of flowers on a white ground (spout restored), h.14cm (2) Condition Report / Extra Information Crack to body. Lacks cover. Some handling wear to enamels. Several very small chips to tip of spout. Lowestoft teapot - spout fully restored and discoloured, cover with minor chips to flower head finial and large loss to one leaf, polychrome decoration generally good, little handling wear.

Cover - four flower head petals with minor frits, inner rim underside with small chip, underside of outer rim with chip near edge (not visible from above). Colours all good. Transfers all good.
