Austin, and R. Rushton, factory marks printed to bases, including date codes, c.1923Condition Report – Coffee pot; crazing to the underside of cover, brown line runs around under the rim, possibly a fine crack, no obvious chips or restoration. Milk jug; Some manufacturing blemishes, blown bubble where the top of the handle joins the body, and around gilded base where it meets the body, no obvious chips, cracks, or restoration, Sugar bowl; Some blemishes / scratches to the interior, manufacturing blemishes to the foot, the bottom edge where meets the body, no chips, cracks or obvious restoration, Eight cups; A little wear, some minor blemishes, scratching to the gold lining, but really very good, no chips, cracks, or obvious restoration, Eight saucers; one saucer particularly crazed, both sides and manufacturing blemishes, one with noticeable crazing to underside, Overall I would say some minor blemishes some scratching to gilded centres, but no chips, cracks, or restoration, Overall; In my opinion very good condition

Smeeton, St. Martin's Lanz : sold by T. Cadell, in the Strand, 1794.⁂ Scarce. Composed of two earlier works now corrected and enlarged, and appearing together for the first time. Aside from two sermons ESTC records only his Hints on producing genius, Worcester, 1790 (two copies only, BL and Chicago). Parsons describes himself on the title as vicar of Wellington in Herefordshire.
