Dibley and Linley life-long Teddy Bear friends, Dibley, a 1920s British Teddy Bear with blonde mohair, clear and black glass eyes, pronounced clipped upturned muzzle, black stitched nose and mouth, swivel head, pin-jointed limbs and hunchbacked —16in. (40.5cm.) high (some wear and thinning, limbs need reattaching); and Linley, a similar worn Teddy Bear - No.2251 purchased from Goodwins Auctions 5th March 2008, these two bears have always been together, they lived for many years in a railway man’s cottage in Suckley, Worcestershire near the Bromyard and Worcester railway.
Bing-a-Ling - an early Bing somersaulting Teddy Bear circa 1910, with brown mohair, black boot button eyes, pronounced muzzle, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head, arm wound clockwork mechanism causing the bear to somersault from hooks at end of arms, jointed legs, felt pads, hump and red and white lithographed tinplate Pat Pending DRGM button under arm —14in.
