A GEORGE II SILVER-MOUNTED OAK SNUFF BOX rectangular with reeded borders and moulded sides, the cover inlaid with the cut-out initials "C" and "R" below a Royal crown, the cover interior with tortoiseshell lining, unmarked c.1735; 2.8" (7.2 cms) long *This box was probably made to commemorate the episode where King Charles II escaped capture following the Battle of Worcester in 1651, when he hid in an oak tree, now referred to as the Boscabel Oak.
A Royal Worcester part dinner and tea service, decorated in Evesham pattern, comprising lidded tureen, six large bowls, 23cm, six small plates, 21cm, four larger plates, 23.5cm, six mugs, 9cm, in mostly unused condition, together with a Royal Worcester commemorative bowl, to celebrated the Millennium 2000 AD, 23 by 9cm, boxed, and plate and square dish in similar pattern, plate 21cm, square dish 15cm, both boxed.
