An early 19th century Chamberlain's Worcester porcelain botanical dessert plate, from the Carnatic service, painted with Horseshoe Vetch, with a scrolled deep blue border, printed marks, 26cm diameter The Islamic script in the border would appear to refer to Amir-al-Hind Nawab Azam Jah Bahadur for a dinner service ordered by Azam Jah circa 1820 and delivered by Royal Worcester in 1823. The service was sold at auction at Bonhams in London in 1978 and examples from this set can be found in both The Victoria & Albert Museum and The Museum of Royal Worcester
