The shape number is 10.

ROYAL WORCESTER; three figures emblematic of countries decorated in shot enamels and modelled by James Hadley comprising 'Irish Girl', shape number 1874, height 16cm, 'Welsh Lady', shape number 1875, height 17.5cm, and 'Welsh Man', also shape number 1875, height 18cm (3).Additional InformationThe figure of the Irish Girl with some light rubbing to gilding, perhaps a little heavier around the bonnet, the Welsh Lady is signed Hadley to the stump at the back, general wear to gilding throughout, and some rubbing to the shot enamels, there is a white patch to the front left of the base where it appears the shot enamels and gilding have not taken, the Welsh Man with light rubbing to gilding and shot enamels, a slight colour imperfection to his right arm, there is a thin surface chip to the underside of the base at the back of the figure.

ROYAL WORCESTER; two figures emblematic of countries decorated in shot enamels and modelled by James Hadley, comprising Ireland, height 17cm, shape number 835, and 'The Yankee', shape number 836, height 17.5cm (2).Additional InformationBoth figures with light rubbing to the gilding and some wear to the shot enamels, heaviest perhaps to the two elbows and the back of The Yankee figure, the head of The Yankee may have been detached and reglued as there is a faint line around one side of the neck.

ROYAL WORCESTER; two figures emblematic of countries modelled by James Hadley comprising Russia, shape number 22, height 17cm, and Italy, shape number 839, height 17.5cm (2).Additional InformationThe figure of the Russian with possibly restoration to the base as the underside of the base appears to have restoration spray to the outside of it, it is not clear what this restoration may be, this figure has general rubbing to the gilding throughout and also to the enamels on the stump, the figure emblematic of Italy with some rubbing to the enamels and also to the gilding, particularly to the musical instrument and to the waistcoat.

ROYAL WORCESTER; two figures emblematic of countries modelled by James Hadley, comprising Scotland, shape number 914, height 15.5cm, and Ireland, shape number 835, height 17cm, each simply with gilt highlights against a white ground.Additional InformationThe figure emblematic of Scotland with rubbing to the gilding particularly to the front of the coat and around the knees of the kilt, a slight glaze chip to the back left corner, and a chip or manufacturing imperfection to the middle section of the coat at the back, the figure emblematic of Ireland with rubbing to the gilt detailing here and there throughout, the gilt detailing is somewhat green in appearance in areas, the figure is restored to both lapels and possibly to the neck

ROYAL WORCESTER; six candle snuffers comprising Mr & Mrs Caudle, a blush version of Mr Caudle, two modelled as a kneeling geisha and the third as a woman, tallest 8cm, together with another candle snuffer modelled as a female head in an elaborate tall headdress, unmarked.Additional InformationThe coloured enamel Mr Caudle is restored to the top section of the hat, all others with some minor age wear, rubbing to the gilding, etc, particularly the blush Mr Caudle.

ROYAL WORCESTER; a pair of hand painted cabinet cups and saucers, signed 'Twin', each painted with violets and primroses, the two saucers with date code for 1919, one of the cups with a date code 1920, the other with a date code for 1921, diameter of saucers 9.5cm, together with two Mappin & Webb gilt silver coffee spoons (6).Additional InformationOne of the saucers with some wear to the gilding in the centre, a few light surface scratches and minor wear at edge, the other saucer with some crazing to the underside around the foot rim, a hairline crack running from the centre out, visible on the painted and non-painted side and two other fainter hairline cracks also, one of the cups is crazed on this inside and with some wear to the gilding on the exterior, light residue of glue to the surface of the gilt where a label once might have been, the other saucer also with some crazing on the inside, again general light wear to the gilt surface throughout on the exterior and also with similar glue residue where a label might once have been, the two spoons with general light rubbing and some tarnishing.

ROYAL WORCESTER;  a blush ivory potpourri vase and cover, painted throughout with roses in the manner of Austin, with a pierced cover, circa 1911, shaped number H169, height 15cm.Additional InformationThe top of the finial is a darker colour gilt to the rest of the finial, some rubbing to the gilding on the lid, there is a small firing flaw to where the moulded detailing ends to the lid, there is a faint hairline crack to the inside of the lid and a firing flaw on the inside flange of the lid, the vase is lightly grubby throughout with a few minor little scratches.

ROYAL WORCESTER; four pieces of blush ivory comprising a miniature three handled tyg painted with flowers, date code for circa 1918, height 6cm, a globular vase also painted with flowers with date code for circa 1907, height 6cm, and a moulded cup and saucer decorated with roses, the cup circa 1903, the saucer circa 1901, and a moulded potpourri vase and cover painted and gilt with flowers, date code for circa 1918, shape number H169, height 19cm (5).Additional InformationThe tig with light rubbing to the gilding on raised areas and a couple of slight surface marks. may benefit from a clean, the globular vase also with some light rubbing to the gilding, the saucer too with some light rubbing to the gilding, the cup with a hairline crack at the rim, hairline crack to the underside of the lid and also to the flange of the lid which also has a slight nick at this point, some rubbing to the gilding here and there throughout and also slightly grubby throughout.

ROYAL WORCESTER; four blush ivory dishes comprising two similar shaped circular plates painted with three floral sprays each diameter 21.5cm, one with date code 1905, the other 1904, a fluted edged plate similarly printed and painted with date code for 1901, diameter 22.5cm, and a shaped oval plate, date code for circa 1900, length 27cm (4).Additional InformationOne of the shaped circular plates has six areas to the raised moulding where the blush has rubbed down to the white or the ceramic, other slight marks and glaze scratches to the surface, the other shaped circular plate is better with just a few light surface scratches to the glaze or enamels, the fluted circular plate with some scratches visible within the blush, the oval plate also with a few light glaze scratches, all pieces with some minor rubbing to the gilding.
