Worcester Scarlet Japan assembled teaset circa 1770, comprising of a lidded teapot, five plates, chocolate cup and saucer, coffee cup and saucer, teacup and saucer, teabowl and saucer, butter dish and stand, teacaddy and a slop bowl.Teapot: Chips to the foot and spout, hairline beside the handle. Some rubbing.Five plates: the large saucer dish plate has a rim chip, the smaller lobed plate is restored and has a star crack, the largest lobed plate has rim chips. Some wearChocolate cup and saucer: some wear.Coffee cup and saucer: saucer chipped and cracked.Teacup and saucer: saucer broken and restuck, teacup chipped on the rim.Teabowl and saucer: bowl footrim chipped. Saucer cracked.Butter dish and stand: restoration to the finial and one handle. short crack beside the other handle.Teacaddy: filled chip and short associated crack to the rim.Slop bowl: cracked.There is some gilt and pattern wear to most pieces.

Together with a mid 19th century hard paste copy tea caddy, hatched square marks to bases.Teapot: Second, probably outside painted. Minor spout chips, small chips to the petals of the finial.Two slop bowls: the smaller bowl has a flat chip to the outside.Spoon tray: short crack to the rim.Sucrier: firing crack to the inner flange of the lid. Chips to the petals of the finial.Tea caddy: short crack to the neck.Sucrier base: OK.Plate: star crack to the base.Coffee cup and saucer: chip to the underside rim of the saucer.Teacup and saucer: cup cracked, chip to the underside rim of the saucer.Three teabowls and saucers: one saucer chipped otherwise ok.Spare teacup: cracked.Two teapot stands: OKStand with branch handles: small chip to the footrim.Saucer dish: OKMid 19th century hard paste copy tea caddy: OK.There is some gilt wear and minor pattern wear to most pieces.
