A collection of Hornby 00 gauge model railway, including The Royal Train Set, a Great North Eastern Railway Train Pack, six Scaledale accompanying buildings to include Holly Farm Barns signal box, Weslyan Chapel, station office, small waiting room, the Boars Head and a church gate, two olive four wheel coaches and a 20ton Worcester brake van, a GWR 060 Pannier tank engine, a GWR 040 tank industrial locomotive, a Weathered coal hopper, a Royal Mail coach set, a Pullman first class parlour car, a Pullman third class kitchen car and a Great Western Paddington to Swansea carriage, all boxed and with other associated accessories and rails.
A Royal Worcester pot pourri of compressed ovoid form, chrysanthemum sprays over a blush ivory ground, the lower section decorated with basket weave decoration, the relief sections highlighted in gilt, inverted saucer form lid with convex central section, reticulated basket weave cover with narrowing reeded strips terminating in central roundel with rope twist decoration, segmented bulb and steeple finial seated within a floral crown, model no. 1286, purple printed factory mark, date code for 1895, 10¾in. (27.4cm.) high. See Illustration.
A first period Worcester sauce boat c.1780, of shallow fluted form, interior decorated with the `Doughnut Tree` pattern, the exterior decorated with a wide upper border of flowers, moths and scrolls, the handle with scroll thumbrest and wheat sheaf decoration, supported on slightly raised ovoid foot, 8in. (20.3cm.) long, 2¼in. (5.6cm.) high. See Illustration.
A set of four Royal Worcester plates date code for 1876, gold quatrefoil on black ground to outer edge of a thin pink band, the centres of the plates bearing hand painted decorations of a single arched viaduct, a mountainous highland lake scene, a kneeling figure with pitcher fetching water and a lakeside sunset scene, all with floral and foliate gilt surround, purple factory mark to base, gilt scribed B over 160 with initials H.T., 9in.
