Bigot G. : O-HA-YO . Nd. C. 1880. Qto. Unusual publication with stiff paper covers featuring part glazed intricate pattern and thin cord flush binding. The contents feature 30 etchings and 10 woodcuts on Japanese paper. The etchings depict Japanese occupations and frequently bear the name 'G.Bigot' in the lower l/h corner. The woodcuts form a separate section with the title 'Une Chasse' and feature Duck hunting. ( We understand the main title O-HA-YO to read 'Good Morning' and the vertical Japanese heading to be a girl's name - 'Nanoyo' - possibly the name of another artist involved ). Generally well preserved and very scarce.
