An unusual Royal Doulton stoneware jug, early 20th Century, the matt brown body sprigged in low relief with a continuous hunting scene including a thrown rider, beneath a darker brown glazed neck, applied with an angular handle, impressed and black painted factory marks to base, together with a pearlware pottery plate, late 18th/early 19th Century, enamelled in blue with a chinoiserie pagoda before water flanked by stylized foliage, the rim with blue feathered edge detail (minor nicks).
