*A FINE STEVENS .38-55 'MODEL 44' FALLING-BLOCK TARGET RIFLE, serial no. 2951, with 30in. heavy blued two-stage No.3 barrel fitted with a tunnel fore-sight and mounted with a Wm. Malcolm tube-sight (serial no. 3553) in Pope mounts, acid etched case-hardened 44 action decorated with scrollwork and a vignette of a hunting hound on the left side and a stag's head on the right side, loop-lever, the tang fitted with a folding aperture rear-sight, double set triggers, 13 1/4in. well figured semi-pistolgrip stock, raised cheek-piece, chequered grip and schnabel fore-end, foliate engraved nickel-plated hook butt-plate, hinged mallet-type palm-rest, and virtually all its original finish.

A FINE GALEAZZI-ENGRAVED 9,3X74R SINGLE-TRIGGER SIDELOCK EJECTOR DOUBLE RIFLE BY ANTONIO ZOLI, serial no. 200000, 23 5/8in. nitro barrels with raised rib, gold-inlaid open sights and leaf sights for 50, 100 and 150 yards and gold bead foresight, the makers name inlaid in gold on the left tube, side-bolstered action, non-selective single trigger, rolled-edge triggerguard, manual safety, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, the action exquisitely engraved with fine english scrolls interspersed with bold stylised acanthus leaves, surrounding and invading finely engraved scenes of boar hunting scenes in bulino style, the left lockplate with a violent scene of boar hounds bringing down a wild boar, the right lockplate depicting shooting driven boar from a high seat, with boar hounds attacking and the underside depicting a scene of the aftermath of the kill, with hunters gathered around a fire and a slain boar in the foreground, signed 'Galeazzi', silver finish overall, 14 3/4in. well-figured stock, semi-beavertail fore-end, finely gold-inlaid with the Zoli crest, weight 8lb.

A UNUSUAL BROWNING LIGHTWEIGHT CUSTOM SHOP 12-BORE B25 'GAME GUN' SINGLE-TRIGGER OVER AND UNDER EJECTOR, serial no. 4792S72, 27 1/2in. nitro barrels with 7mm ventilated matt top-rib, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 3/4 choke, hold-open toplever pierced with a duck in flight and gold-inlaid with a crest, manual safety with integral barrel selector switch, the action and furniture deeply carved in relief with conifer branches and pine cones, the fore-end iron decorated en-suite, the action finely carved in relief with the implements and accoutrements of hunting and war and various hanging game, the underside with a scene of a besieged castle and a bowman with cranes bringing fish, all on a finely matted background, the triggerguard finely pierced with a scene of roe deer, signed 'R.P.', bright finish overall, 14 1/4in. highly-figured stock, weight 6lb. 12oz.
