A marble frieze fragment depicting a hunting scene with the goddess Diana dressed in a short hunting dress, her left hand reaching for arrows, right hand holding a bow; by her left leg a standing hunting dog; head and right arm absent. 400 grams, 14cm (5 1/2"). Property of a London gentleman; acquired before 1980. Fair condition.
16th-17th century AD. A small silver annular hunting vervel, inscribed to one face in a loose italic hand '*Sir John + Clopton*' and to the reverse '*of Warwickshyre'. 1.07 grams, 14mm (1/2"). Ex Daniel collection; by descent November 2014; acquired by the current owner's grandfather from his father in the early 1950s. The name 'Sir John Clopton' was borne by several knights from the 13th century onwards, all members of the Clopton family holding lands in Stratford-upon-Avon and elsewhere in Staffordshire. John Clopton, the Alderman of the Trinity Guild of Coventry, owned Clopton House, Stratford in 1450. In the 1679 parliamentary election, Sir John Clopton was returned for the county of Warwickshire, the last of the line to sit in government. Very fine condition.
20th century AD. A group comprising: a six-sided gilt box seal matrix depicting intaglio hunting-related devices, with four oval faces (quail, bowman, fox and shooter) and two circular faces (stag and fox mask); a double-ended gilt seal with circular face depicting an intaglio rooster with incuse 'WHILE I LIVE I'LL CROW' inscription and shield-shaped face with initials 'JB' in monogram. 12 grams total, 16- 29mm long (3/4, 1 1/4"). Property of a Warwickshire gentleman; formerly in the private collection of the famous actor Leslie Phillips; acquired 1950-1960. Born in 1924 in London, Leslie Phillips attended the Italia Conti Academy where he developed the slightly affected accent which became his trademark. He usually played a roguish, suave charmer, and also enjoyed successful comic roles in the early Carry On films and on radio’s The Navy Lark. He has appeared in more than fifty films, plays and TV series spanning six decades; and recently gained new fans through his appearances in the Harry Potter films. He was made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 1998 Queen's Birthday Honours; promoted to Commander (CBE) in the 2008 New Year Honours. [2, No Reserve] Very fine condition.

An extensive tea and dinner service in the Hunting Scene pattern by various factories to include; Coalport and Crown Staffordshire Condition Report / Extra Information Cream jug - small crack to spout. One side plate - large crack to outer edge. One teacup - small hairline crack to lower part. Two bowls 0 hairline cracks. One saucer - large star hairline crack and central loss. Medium sized plate - hairline. General surface scratches throughout. Overall good condition with the noted faults.

Four gold and silver hunting stick pins, fox mask, fox, crop and bird. CONDITION REPORT: The fox mask pin is in good order with no issues. The running fox has one stone missing and several discoloured. The pheasant is in generally good order although there is some possible green enamel missing from around the neck. The riding crop pin is in good order. The stones are all paste and not diamonds.
