A Victorian 'Beaufort' Silver and Copper Novelty Propelling-Pencil, by Köhler and Son, London, Late 19th Century in the form of a hunting horn, the end holds the pencil lead and propels out96mm closed, 11.3cm extendedStamped on copper section with Kohler and Son mark. The silver section stamped 'sterling silver'. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. There are some bruises overall. The pencil extends properly, if with a bit of slack. There is no pencil lead to confirm if it functions properly.

APOCALYPTO (2006) - Holcane Warrior Weapons and Mayan Sacrificial Tools - Holcane warrior weapons and Mayan sacrificial tools from Mel Gibson's Apocalypto.Weapons like these were used by the Mayan raiders whilst attacking Jaguar Paw's (Rudy Youngblood) village, to sacrifice the captured villagers, and then again whilst hunting Jaguar Paw through the forest when he escaped. Included in this lot is a chakram, two macuahuitls, two parts of a spear-type weapon, and a sacrificial knife and bowl. The weapons are made of wood and resin, and blades painted glossy black to resemble obsidian. Some of the weapons feature intricate carved designs, and the sacrificial knife and bowl are crafted to resemble bone, and are stained by stage blood.
