London 1811", tooled leather bound pocket edition, and a collection of hound lists including Cowdray Hounds 1931-1932, Duke of Beaufort's Hounds 1958, 1959, 1962, 1964, The Cheshire Hounds 1854, and Percy 1942-1946 College Valley and North Northumberland Foxhounds 2006-2007 and 2009-2010 CONDITION REPORTS Waistcoat - In used and worn condition with some dirt and marks, but generally condition appears reasonably good. Ephemera in worn condition and with various damage and losses and stains. Various inscriptions. One also has burn damage. Please see photos for examples of condition.
A George V silver hunting horn inscribed "W. Lockey. County Limerick Hunt. 1924-27.", retailed by Swaine & Adeney Limited 185 Piccadilly, London, Proprietor of Kohler & Son (by Kohler & Son, London 1924) CONDITION REPORTS Overall with general and scuffs, a few small nicks and dents, some rubbing to hallmarks to central banding, length approx. 22.5 cm, weight approx. 3.9 ozt, bell size approx. 5 cm diameter.
A copper and plated hunting horn by Callow of London CONDITION REPORTS Length approx. 22.25 cm, bell size approx. 5 cm diameter. Overall with quite a lot of heavy wear, knocks and dents, some mis-shaping, an etched inscription to the copper which has almost completely worn away, together with the Callow & Son inscription which is also quite worn with quite a few of the letters worn away, various nicks and knocks to edges.
A basket containing a collection of Ambassador ware "English Hunting Scenes" pattern pottery coffee cans and saucers, together with a black silk top hat CONDITION REPORTS Cups and saucers with quite a lot of crazing, staining and some cracks and chips. Hat with wear and scuffs and quite a few threadbare areas, interior approx. 8.25 cm front to back and 15 cm wide, approx. interior circumference 52.5 cm.
K F BARKER "Me and My Dog", published Country Life Ltd, first edition published 1961, tooled and gilded cloth board bound, together with a volume "The Cecil Aldin Book", published Eyre & Spottiswoode, London 1932, cloth board bound, together with LADY BIRKETT "Hunting Lays and Hunting Ways", published John Lane, the Bodley Head Ltd London 1924, tooled clothboard bound CONDITION REPORTS The Cecil Aldin book with wear, fading, stains, some losses to the title paper on the spine, some separating at spine to pages to interior, various yellowing, discolouration and foxing to pages and to illustrations. The Hunting Lays and Hunting Ways has general wear and dirt to cover, some browing and discolouration to pages, quite a few of the pages have uneven edge and rough uncut edges and most pages, some yellowing and some areas of foxing, some separating of pages at spine. The Me and My Dog has general wear and scuffs, some fading, some yellowing, some knocks and bumps to edges, but generally appears in reasonably tidy condition. All with various inscriptions.
