A very scarce hunting hunger from the imperial hunting company of tsar Nicolas II, dating: third quarter of the 19th Century, provenance: Russia Impero, dating: third quarter of the 19th Century, provenance: Russia Impero, Wide, straight, single-and false-edged blade with a large, central fuller on one side; flat on the other side, bearing a medallion with Cyrillic inscription '1870' with imperial eagle; base with imperial eagle and cyrillic inscription; gilded bronze hilt, quillon with 'S'-shaped, deer hooves quillons; pommel shaped as a wolf's head and deer horn, chiselled grip. Leather scabbard with brass mounts decorated with bear's head. Each company counted only about twenty people., length 49.3 cm.
