•Michael Lyne (1912-1989) - Horse "Sundrenched", standing in stable interior, signed, oil on canvas, 24" x 30" *The horse is called "Sundrenched" which was at livery with Graham Thorner (a winning jockey at the Grand National). ** The artist was born in Upton Bishop in Herefordshire and studied at the Cheltenham School of Art, he specialises in sporting subjects and hunting scenes and has illustrated many books and also wrote and illustrated 'Horses, Hounds and Country' (published 1938), the artist has exhibited in London but lived for much of his life in Cheltenham
