A good Victorian hallmarked silver water/beer jug, the scrolling high loop handle with applied leaves above a baluster body decorated in deep relief with a hunting party with two gents, four dogs and various game within a landscape above a spreading circular foot, Robert Hennell, London 1867, also engraved to the base "RC Oldfield, Silversmith London", height 28cm, approx 35oz.
SIR JOSEPH EDGAR BOEHM (1834-1890); a large bronze hunting group centred with a huntsman before his horse holding aloft a fox with nine hounds at his feet, raised on a naturalistic circular plinth, signed, height 27cm, diameter approx 28cm. CONDITION REPORT: Lacking riding crop which should be in his right hand, the bronze is of good colour however many of the animals appear to have been cast separately and applied. Several of them do not sit tightly to the base and would require attention.

A French brass bracket clock with copper and poker work decoration of a hunting scene to front of case with Romanesque pillars, finials to top, plinth and feet under. The metal chapter ring impressed "Goldsmith Alliance. Cornhill, London, 9478" having Roman numerals and the movement striking on a gong. Stamped "Japy Freres"
A large Victorian / Edwardian mahogany-bound and Art Nouveau fretwork decorated postcard album of approx 800-plus cards compiled by a member of the vendor's family who was a merchant seaman. Places covered incl Gilbraltar, Tangier, Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Capri, Sorrento, Milan, Malta, Corfu, Port Said, Suez Canal, Egypt, Aden, Ceylon (a lot), Sri Lanka, Japan, Australia (a lot), New Zealand, Tasmania, Hawaii, South Pacific Islands, Fiji, New Hebrides, Samoa etc. Subjects covered incl lots of cards with Aboriginal / native, social history, topographical, semi-naked beauties etc The postcards are displayed in purpose-made pages covered entirely by postage stamps of the time. Most cards are unused. A detailed but not comprehensive list of countries and subjects are as follows: Approx 30 cards each of Gibralta, Tangier incl street scenes, South of France and Germany, mainly topographical - various destinations; Italy incl Naples, volcanoes, Capri, Amalfi, Milan; Malta incl fishermen; Corfu; Port Said incl shipping; Suez Canal; Egypt, desert scenes; Aden, quite a lot of street scenes; Ceylon / Sri Lanka (a lot) incl natives, tea plantations, street scenes; various Tamil, Singhalese, Rodiya, Singalese girls, temples, humorous transport, elephants, tapping rubber trees, Japanese cards, street scenes and topographical. Forty Australian cards, droving, gold mining, hunting, outback, stagecoach, farming, logging, native birds. Approx 36 cards with Aboriginal subjects incl medicine men, chiefs, women, fighting men, several of men writing in sand, fishing, West Australian, Barron river etc. Freemantle street scenes (at least 15), Melbourne, Bendigo, Bow Bow mountains, Victoria in general, Healesville, Sydney (lots), outback, gold mining, Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns, sheep shearing, sugar cane / pineapple. Tasmania, Hobart, New Norfolk, whale hunting, Dunedin, shipping, Christchurch, Auckland. Many Maori cards incl dancing, hunting, village life, war canoes etc. Good selection of native Hawaiian and topographical, Fiji, New Hebrides. Samoan cards are virtually all of natives,quite a few early black and white cards of Aboriginals from New Hebrides (Papua New Guinea). A few stuck in and possibly not postcards (8 in total).
