A pair of candlesticks formed from the hilts of 19th Century German hunting hangers, ornamental copper gilt bases and candleholders, the centre sections consisting of a 3 in section of blade, turn down shell guard with hound holding bird in relief, S-shaped crossguard with deer's head and dog's head quillons, and central boar's head in oval, horn grips with 3 applied acorns, ornamental pommel, 12½" overall. A Large Early 19th Century Giltwood Wall Mirror, the cavetto moulded cornice adorned with gilt balls above a large frieze applied with an ebonised hunting scene. The long rectangular mirror flanked by palmate surmounted column cluster pilasters. 46½ ins (118 cms) in height, 30¾ ins (78 cms) in width, 4½ ins (12 cms) in depth.
A Decorative Wall Hanging. The coarsely woven cloth printed with a mediaeval hunting scene featuring a regal figure on horseback accompanied by ladies and attendants with hounds. The outlines chain-stitched in gold thread, with gold braid around the borders and velvet hanging loops to the top, 63 ins x 45 ins (160 cms x 115 cms).
