A hunting short-sword dating: first quarter of the 18th Century provenance: Germany Straight, single -and false-edged blade, on one side of the forte remains of a stamp; fine, iron hilt with counter-curved quillons enriched by deer horn plaques, the guard ring too decorated with plaques of deer horn; iron grip with deer horn grip scales. A fine hunting trousse dating: late 17th Century provenance: Germany Iron fork with two prongs of lozenge section, stamped "X", with baluster-shaped neck; knife with slightly curved, single-edged blade, stamped "XXXX". Both provided with elegant, silver handle; convex at the front, engraved with floral motifs, with horn grip scales (small damages) with silver inlays depicting putti, animals and a basket of fruit, at the edge the bas-relieved, silver-plated effigy of Diana; flat at the back, entirely made of silver, engraved with floral pattern. Together in one sheath, stitched with brass thread, decorated with imprinted flowers and a round mark featuring a rampant lion.dimensions: length 20 - 20,5 cm. A hunting clasp knife dating: 19th Century provenance: Europe Straight, single-edged blade, slightly hollow at the foible. Iron grip with checkered, horn grip scales. The knife can be used even when it's closed (as the blade is 11.5 cm longer than the grip), opening the blade a small quillon -consisting of two small, white metallic bars- pops out of the grip. An interesting, composite hunting knife dating: early 19th Century provenance: Germany Curved, single-edged blade with double fuller, marked "HOSTIN" at the back. Fine, iron quillon, the block chiselled with fighting scenes between dogs and a lion and between dogs and a bull; the arms of the quillon bent toward the bottom, chiselled with acanthus leaves, racemes and frames, ending with in the round lion heads holding a small, floral button in their jaws.
