Collection of enamel snuff boxes and carved hardstone Collection of enamel snuff boxes, one inscribed 'Hunting' with a huntsman on horseback with a hound at his side, another painted en-grisaille with a vase and inscribed 'A token of Friendship' another inscribed 'A Mother's Gift to a Deserving Child' also a porcelain egg, and a glass display box, two Chinese carved hardstone chops depicting a ram and a dragon. The largest box measures 7cm longThe 'Hunting' box has some wear to the enamel. The en-grisaille box has damage and enamel loss, the mirror inside is cracked. 'A Mother's Gift' has some scratching and cracks to the enamel and tarnishing to the internal mirror. The two Chinese carved hardstone chops have small chips, The Fan shaped box with the Sevres mark has a cracked lid.

There is a central oval of browning behind the figure and some spots of foxing. The painting is ornately framed but not glazed then set within a glazed box frame. The outer frame has some minor scuffs and knocks commensurate with age.

Some minor surface scratches, as to be expected and commensurate with use. One or two minor nicks to the rim of the trumpet. Hallmark clear and readable.

A Victorian silver novelty combination scent bottle and vinaigrette, mark of Sampson Mordan, London 1872, in the form of a hunting horn, part marked screw down detachable 'mouthpiece' with chain retainer, piano hinged 'trumpet' end section, 36mm diameter, with gilded interior revealing the part marked gilt hinged and pierced grille, chain link attachment, 2oztOverall in good condition with no obvious sign of damage or repair. Some minor surfaces scratches and bruises as to be expected. The threaded mouthpiece screws and unscrews satisfactorily. The trumpet end opens and closes satisfactorily, and the hinge does not appear strained though the inner rim of the trumpet is very slightly out of shape. Inside the gilding is in fair condition with a little wear and spotting, as is the part marked grille, which opens and closes satisfactorily - the hinge does not appear stained to that part either. Measuring round the curvature, the overall outer length is 13cm and the inner length is 10cm, from end to end. Hallmarks a little worn but still readable.
