A 19TH CENTURY FRENCH SILVER MOUNTED HUNTING SWORD OR HANGER, 48cm polished blade decorated with panels of scrolling foliage, a dog chasing a stag and a dog chasing a boar, traces of gilt decoration, Romanesque silver mounted hilt, the crossguard with central lion's mask to either side, laurel wreath and acanthus pommel cap, tapering reeded ivory grip, contained in its silver mounted leather wrapped wooden scabbard decorated to match, associated companion knife.
A VICTORIAN COPY OF A WHEELLOCK PUFFER PISTOL, barrel and fore-end lacking, border engraved stepped lock decorated with hunting scenes, the remaining stock applied over all with border engraved panels depicting scenes from the hunt, spherical butt decorated with further scenes from the hunt.
