19th Century dress sabre with single edge fullered blade and wire bound hilt, probably French, together with a Continental hunting sword or hanger with white and yellow metal grip, decorated with birds, animals and flowers, the double edged blade stamped: 1747. (2)(B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Hanger - hilt has been overpolished with abrasive. Slightly mis-sharpened. Dirty in places. Blade is badly pitted and tarnished with surface rust and edgek nicks. Sabre- blade is rusted in places, badly tarnished and knicked to its edge. Hilt is tarnished and worn but not damaged.

A 19th century carved ivory tankardCarved in the round with a boar hunting scene, surmounted with gilt metal mounts, the top finial formed as a knight. 28.5 cm high. CONDITION REPORTS: Some staining, some splits, some minor fritting, metal mounts slightly dented/misshappen and having been over painted with a gilt type paint, general wear.
A Chinese porcelain moon flaskOf typical form, decorated with a hunting party opposing exotic birds amongst floral sprays, red painted four character seal mark to base, converted as a lamp. 60.5 cm high overall. CONDITION REPORTS: Generally good condition, expected wear, neck ground down, some rubbing to enamels, some rubbing to gilding, restoration to handles.

A D-section silver ring with insert red stone intaglio, engraved standing figure holding a bag to the front, to the back two hares suspended from a rope, to the feet a hunting dog. 8.46 grams, 24.15mm overall, 18.11mm internal diameter (approximate size British P 1/2, USA 7 3/4, Europe 16.86, Japan 16) (3/4"). Property of a private collector; acquired before 1975. Very fine condition.
13th-15th century AD. A carefully modelled gilt-bronze mount in the form of a hunting dog's head moulded in the round, the muzzle, brow and pate decorated with bands of ropework decoration; the triangular ears placed to the rear edges of the sides, the nose, eyes and lower jaw detailed with linear designs; to the underside a long shank, square in section at the top becoming circular below; mounted on a custom-made stand.Hammond, B. Benet's Medieval Artefacts of England & The United Kingdom, Witham, 2015, p.312, item MO-28018. 56 grams, 41mm including stand (1 1/2"). Found East Anglia, UK. Very fine condition.
3rd-2nd millennium BC. A bronze axehead with hunting dog motif in low relief to each face of the socket, lobed rear plate, D-shaped blade with raised dentilled panel to the 'edge'; mounted on a custom-made stand. 23cm including stand (9"). Property of a London gallery; previously from a private family collection since the 1970s. Very fine condition. Rare.
Late 17th-18th century AD. A carved jade archer's ring with domed hoop and ovoid extension, inlaid with gold tracery foliage set with shaped cabochon rubies and emeralds in a floral pattern; typical of workmanship seen from the Hindustan region. Cf. Mohamed, Bashir, The Arts of the Muslim Knight, Milan, 2008, nos.381, 382 and 383 for very similar examples; see also Victoria and Albert Museum, London, accession number 02522(is) for another similar ring; see Melikian-Chirvani, Assadullah Souren. Bonewitz. These exquisite jewelled archer's rings were worn by Moghul nobles as a sign of their military prowess and as a statement of their skill in the arts of war and hunting.
