A Faience ware large bulbous guild jug having hand painted polychrome decoration of lions hunting stags with floral medallions and borders. Central armorial cartouche depicting wheel, saw and instruments. Notation to top of jug reading Martin Batra 1735. The jug raised on a small circular yellow painted foot with shaped handle decorated with blue stylised patterns. With early repair. Measures 24cm high.
