A Chinese hexagonal silver coloured metal tea caddy and cover, decorated figures, birds and foliage, 14 cm high See illustration Condition report Report by GH The spout leans slightly to one side, suggesting that the caddy may have been dropped at some point. There is wear to the corners of the hexagonal rim at the top, in some places it has just worn through. The sides are dented in places and there is old polish in the decorative panels on the sides. There are two large dents at opposite ends of the foot-rim of the canister, both of which are visible from the side. There are two marks to the base See illustrations Approx. 9.5 ozt
A George III silver Kings pattern caddy spoon, by Joseph Willmore, Birmingham 1817 (af); together with another silver caddy spoon, by Hilliard & Thomason, Birmingham 1902. Condition Report: The Georgian caddy spoon has a crease where handle meets bowl and this has a crack beginning within it. Bowl is slightly misshapen and has two dents. H&T example has a slight bend to side of bowl.
An Edwardian fern ware tea caddy with serpentine front, stamped 'Smith, Mauchlin, Manuafacturers His Majesty', 20.5cm wide. Condition Report: Overall condition is commensurate with age and use. However the top has suffered with some heat damage. The base and silvered interiors have minor damage to the hinged area (interior). NO key present.
A mixed lot, to include: a burr yew wood tea caddy; two horn beakers; two studio pottery bowls; and a vintage Metamec wall timepiece. Condition Report: Whilst the interior looks complete the outside shows signs of wear and tear. The veneer is cracked and the stringing is missing in places. The escutcheon is missing as is the key.

EARLY 19th CENTURY NEW HALL PORCELAIN TEA CADDY of flat arched form, painted with designs of galleons under sail and small scaled panels and foliage. C. 1800-1810. 5" high (12.5cm). CONDITION REPORT: The lid is overall chipped with damage to the knob, the body whilst rather grubby shows no obvious damage or restoration, some losses to paint in places.
18th CENTURY TORTOISESHELL TEA CADDY, having indented case with hinged cover, inner cover, two compartments and ivory outlines. 5.25" wide (13cm). CONDITION REPORT: Small area of missing tortoiseshell, one section of tortoiseshell detached from front although showing in photograph. Hinges intact. Odd cracks to veneers also evident and rather grubby.
18th CENTURY TORTOISESHELL TEA CADDY having domed hinged top with silver escutcheon, opening to reveal inner cover with divided and lined interior, indented front standing on four bun feet. 6" across (14.5cm). CONDITION REPORT: Losses to tortoiseshell veneers particularly around the skirted base in four places. Losses to ivory banding to interior edges, loose veneers in places and hinges are loosely fitted. Rather grubby overall.
