George III mahogany two-division sarcophagus-shaped tea caddy with inlaid stringing and ivory escutcheon, hinged lid enclosing two lidded canisters and a central Georgian cut glass sugar bowl, with brass ring handles and paw feet CONDITION REPORT All four feet are bent up. Some surface wear, a small amount of veneer cracking and fading. Both canister's lids come away from hinges. The sugar bowl container has been re-lined. Otherwise in good order
Mid-eighteenth century longcase clock with thirty hour movement, eleven inch square brass dial, pierced face mask spandrels, matted centre with subsidiary calendar aperture and brass chapter ring, signed - Hampson Wrexham 1313, in an oak case with shaped door and mahogany border, hood with square door with integral turned columns, caddy top and frieze carved - L. R. A. 1750, 210cm overall height CONDITION REPORT General overall condition is quite good. Movement is clean but we are unable to say if it is in full working order. Dial appears to be original to the movement. There are no extra holes in the front plate but two in back plate, one at bottom left hand corner adjacent to pillar and another above bell mount screw. Seat board is present but detached. Case is in reasonable condition. Some minor damage to veneers. Trunk door hinges are replacements and door no longer fits. Some signs of woodworm but appears inactive. Base not original . Hood door has veneer missing and top is damaged. There is no liner dial mask
A large 19thC birds eye maple tea caddy, with crossbanding, the sarcophagus shaped cover inlaid with a tablet (now missing) internally fitted with a glass bowl, flanked by two lidded compartments, the inner lid lined with mirror glass, over a narrow full width drawer with turned handles, on ceramic compressed bun feet, 26.5cm wide and 26cm high.
A George III silver caddy spoon and other silver flatware, including a set of five silver coffee spoons, a pair of sugar bows and a server with shell pattern handle, Chester 1912, the George III caddy spoon has a mother of pearl handle, and is engraved with a leaf, Birmingham 1807, 2.5oz of weighable silver.
