A George IV rosewood tea caddy, of plain rectangular shape with shallow sunken panels to each side and cast silver handle, the hallmarks rubbed, the interior divided into compartments, 34 x 17cm. Very dry and in need of polishing, the odd minor knock to a couple of the corners but in overall excellent and completely original condition, the hinges original and undamaged, the fitted interior also complete and original but lacking both of the tea canisters and the jar (See lot 1252 for illustration).

A George III burr yew-wood and marquetry tea caddy, inlaid to each side with borders of leaves and stringing, the front applied with a contemporary engraving, the interior with a sycamore canister and conforming burr yew cover beside an associated glass jar, and mounted with Sheffield Plate handles, 26 x 14cm. In very good original condition with a few minor marks and scratches but a much better than average example and attractive (See lot 1252 for illustration).

An early Victorian tortoiseshell tea caddy, with domed lid and serpentine front, veneered in richly marked shell outlined with wire stringing, the divided interior retaining a pair of covers, on ebonised ball feet, 18. 5 x 11. 5. In generally very good condition with only the odd minor chip, small repair at the back of the lid near one of the hinges. On the interior small repairs to the veneers on the two lids, also the caddy has been recently lined rather inexpertly with silver foil, the feet replaced (See lot 1252 for illustration).

A GEORGE II TODDY LADLE the shaped bowl with repousse decoration, damaged, 1748; a Continental caddy spoon, the handle in the form of a Dutch figure playing pipes, marks for Chester 1903; a Continental strainer, pierced, handle lacking; and a cased set of six coffee spoons in Celtic style, Chester 1933, 4oz of silver.
