An 18th Century Chinese Qianlong tea caddy of small proportions, decorated in oxide red and famille-verte palette, raised on four bracket feet, 11 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Has large areas of loss to the glaze to the top, both the lid and shoulders, the collar of the tea caddy is broken and is in pieces inside, there is wear to the enamel work throughout as well as firing flaws, general wear and tear, etc. and one foot has damage as well as to the base line. See images for more details. General wear and tear conducive with age and use.

AN IRISH MAHOGANY TABLE CLOCK, THIRD QUARTER 18TH CENTURY AND LATER the associated Irish case with stepped and shaped caddy top above moulded arches to front and rear, glazed side panels and rear door, on pad feet, the dial with silvered Roman numeral chapter ring with Arabic five minutes enclosing a false bob aperture to the matted centre above twin winding apertures (one dummy), applied mask and foliate scroll spandrels, the break arch with applied silvered boss bearing signature ~Furnace / Dublin~ flanked by further applied foliate scrolls, the Irish eight day single fusee movement with pull cord to strike the hour and quarters on two bells, the back plate with engraved chevron border and signed ~Geo. Furnace / Dublin~ within a shaped cartouche, with pendulum and key 44cm high with carrying handle raised Irish table clocks of the second half of the 18th century often seem to feature the unusual shaped top seen in this clock: for a similar Irish Georgian case (with its original movement) see Dreweatts, Newbury, 11 March 2008, lot 112. George Furnace is recorded as a clockmaker working in Dublin between 1751-73. Provenance: James McCann (1840-1904), Irish nationalist MP and stockbroker, of Simmonscourt Castle, Ballsbridge, Dublin and the Ardsallagh estate, Navan, Co. Meath; thence by family descent.

Late 19th/20th century. 3rd item: Chinese Song Ding style bottle vase having a wide flaring rim, carved lotus petal decoration to the neck and foot and incised floral decoration to the body. 10 3/8" H. 20th century. 4th item: Chinese Longquan style celadon tripod footed censer. 5 1/2" H x 6 3/4" dia. 20th century. CONDITION: Black and white tea caddy with old repairs to rim. Bottle vase with some fleabites to base. Remaining items overall good condition.

Regency Tortoise Shell Veneered Tea Caddy with silver on copper mounts including ball finial and feet, escutcheon and oval monogram reserve; the hinged, domed lid, flat front and back, and canted corners with panels divided by silver line inlay. Interior with velvet lined lid and two compartments with remnants of old lining, possibly sharkskin. Retains key. 7 1/2" H x 7 1/2" W x 4 1/2" D. English, circa 1810. Provenance: Private Middle Tennessee Collection. CONDITION: Overall very good condition with expected and scattered minor shrinkage, some wear to monogram, finial and feet, and a couple of very minor scattered losses, none longer than 1/4" and wider than 1/16". Losses and stains to interior lining. Retains key; lock functional.

A patch to the Tunbridge band to the left side of the top and a small patch at the bottom left of the front. The larger box is missing the loop handle to the left, has a very small loss of the veneer to the front bottom left corner, otherwise good condition.
