An uncommon Feeding/Caddy Spoon having a handle formed by a gent leaning on a shield, having a snake around his right leg whilst he wields a sabre. The bowl engraved with a heraldic shield and the date 1578, hallmarked London 1899. 53gms.; and a commemorative teaspoon the bowl with an illustration of the Guildhall. The handle with a crest `Lord Mayor Treloar Cripples Home & College; B`ham 1908 makers E & G. 26gms.
A George III chinoiserie painted longcase clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the brass break arch dial with rolling moon and signed `Henry Harrison London` to arch above a chapter ring with Roman numerals framing a matt centre with subsidiary seconds and date aperture, cornered with pierced eagle and urn spandrels, the hood with caddy top above a pair of brass finials and glazed door, the arched trunk and base painted with chinoiserie scenes on a blue ground, height approx 229cm, together with pendulum and two weights (faults).
A mid-18th Century ebonized bracket clock, the eight day twin fusee movement with verge escapement, bob pendulum and striking on a bell, the brass break arch dial with silvered strike/silent indicator boss to arch inscribed `Wm. Smith, London` above a silvered chapter ring with Roman hours and Arabic minutes, framing a matt centre with mock pendulum aperture and date aperture, all cornered by pierced scroll spandrels, the backplate finely engraved with scrolls and foliage, the case with caddy top fitted with a brass carry handle above pierced fret panels, glazed doors to front and back and glazed side panels, on a moulded plinth base and bracket feet, height approx 52cm (some faults).
