19th CENTURY PHILLIP ASHBURY SILVER PLATED TEA CADDY A magnificent, 19th century silver plated tea caddy or casket by Phillip Ashbury and Sons. 22x20cm. Extremely high quality workmanship, loss of silver plate but otherwise good condition with handles, hinge and finial all present and working. Beautifully chased with an empty cartouche.

A German silver tea caddy of architectural rectangular dome-topped form, bearing partial reassay hallmarks for 1905 and marked 925, probably Berthold Muller, the body with embossed scenes of cavalier figures engaged in various pursuits and bearing a crest to the hinged cover, supported on four bun feet. 16.9 ozt. 15 cm long x 11 cm wide x 19 cm high.Condition report: The hinge is damaged at one end

A MAUCHLINE WARE TEA CADDY designed by John Cook, with hinged lid, 13cm high It is believed John Cook designed this lot as a sample for potential new lines. However, it never made it to full production. Cook joined the company in 1904 and worked there until it closed. Condition Report: Available upon request
