A Chippendale period mahogany tea caddy. With bronze swing handle and escutcheon, with three internal compartments and raised on a moulded plinth, 24cm wide. Condition Report. To be used as a guide only. Back left corner of the cover lacking some moulding. Hinges missing some screws and loose. Lock lacking and two original escutcheon pins with one replaced.
A nineteenth century French brass cased table clock. With ogee caddy top cornered by four urn shaped finials, ornamented with shell moulded spandrels with Arabic numeral chapter and raised on toupie feet. Housing a two train eight day movement signed Marti and striking half hourly on a gong, 42.5cm. Condition Report. To be used as a guide only. Working. Good condition. No key.
Early to mid 20th century AD. A bronze tea caddy standing on four elephant heads; central panel with phoenix flying, side panels with abstract coral design; lid with panels of flowers; side handles in the shape of dragons. 509 grams; 13cm (5"). Property of a North East Essex collector; acquired in the 1980s. [No Reserve]
