A fine Christopher Dresser design cased tea-set for two persons with sterling silver accessories, 1909, retailed by Kendall & Co. 17 Rue de la Paix, Paris,Registered Design 85275, black leather-cloth case with handle, with double-doors opening to grey suede-lined two-tiered interior, the upper tier fitted with wicker-handled kettle containing tea-caddy, wicker-handled tea-pot containing sugar bowl and milk jug, spirit burner and stand, all in sterling silver by Johnson, Durban & Co Ltd and hallmarked Birmingham 1909, and inscribed with monogram initials 'MA', and some pieces marked with retailer's details; the lower tier fitted with two Royal Worcester green-glaze tea-cups resting on pads with matching saucers, with two sterling silver tea-spoons and sugar tongs housed in the double-doors, the case measuring 29 x 16 x 19cm and with retailer's marking to lower edge.
