A Pratt ware Macaroni type tea caddy, circa 1790, relief moulded with figures and picked out in cobalt, yellow and green glazes, cover now fixed, 12.5cm high, along with a creamware plate, late 18th century, printed in brown with a floral design, the borders picked out with cobalt flowers 22cm diameter, and a Swansea oval, blue and white stand, printed with a Chinese river landscape design, impressed `Swansea`, 21.5cm wide (at fault) (3)

SEE ILLUSTRATION She-oak (casuarina) is wood brought back from Botany Bay as ship`s balast,, following the establishment of the penal colony there in 1788. Thomas Sheraton admired it`s "finely dappled" grain.
