Body - a series of small fine age cracks to the body. Cover - the cover has two age cracks, and the stalk knop is broken, but the piece is retained. The hinge is present and works well. Lock is original and present as is the escutcheon. There is no key. The cover has shrunk slightly across the width of the grain.
