THREE JAPANESE MINIATURE SATSUMA ITEMS MEIJI PERIOD, 19TH CENTURY One a square-section tea caddy and cover, the sides decorated with landscapes, flowers and two chickens, the shoulder and lid with a dense pattern of flowerheads in gilt; together with a small footed dish with flowers and scrolling patterns, both signed Kinkozan zo, and a circular box and cover painted with butterflies amongst a multitude of flowers, the rims with a band of shippo-tsunagi cash patterns, unsigned, 6.4cm max. Portmeirion Cycling Pottery. A miscellaneous collection of 29 under-glazed transfer-printed cycling-themed items from the Portmeirion Pottery, Stoke-on-Trent. Most are stamped Portmeirion Pottery, with illustrations in black on a white background of principally Victorian machines and their riders. Included are 4 dinner plates, 5 dessert plates, 6 large cups (one brown), 4 plain black saucers, biscuit barrel, tea-caddy, milk jug, bed-pan, etcetera. All appear to be in good condition. (29)
