A Regency burrwood tea caddy, the well figured top with boxwood stringing opening to two plush lined compartments with mahogany lids and boxwood and ebony stringing with turned ivory handles. Width 22.5 cm, height 12.5 cm.

A Victorian rosewood tea caddy, a mahogany veneered tea caddy and two Victorian walnut veneered jewellery boxes. Widest 25 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The rosewood tea caddy has two loose lids but the interior is not compartmentalised. It has a lock but no key. The hinges work as they should. The brass ball feet are intact. There is a 12 cm and 4 cm crack to the underside. The rectangular walnut veneered caddy has no lock in place, the interior has been zinc lined but this has now deteriorated. The hinges are intact. The top of the caddy is sun bleached. The walnut box with the lozenge inset to the lid has a lock but no key. This has been a jewellery box and not a tea caddy. There is no interior tray. There is an age split running across the bottom from front to back. The largest box with brass medallion was original a sewing box. There has been an interior tray at one point which is now missing. It has a lock but no key. It is a little sun bleached but there are no significant losses.
