Later hinges and lock. Bracket feet removed. Later interior divisions and baize lining to the top. A 19th century mahogany tea caddy with recessed brass handle, height 16cm, width 33cm, depth 16.5cm, with a 19th century rosewood tea caddy with ivory escutcheon, height 16cm (2).Additional InformationThe rosewood tea caddy with some cracks to the wood, some fading and some losses to the veneer and inlay, the other tea caddy with general wear to the surface throughout and some watermarks, the mixing bowl to the interior is not original and the lids to the canister sit slightly proud.
A William IV mother of pearl inlaid rosewood sarcophagus shaped tea caddy, decorated throughout with dragons and foliate motifs, on bun feet, height 20cm, width 36cm, depth 21cm.Additional InformationSurface of the wood with general age wear, scuffs and knocks throughout, this is heavier to the top of the tea caddy with several small losses to the mother of pearl at this section, corners of the lid knocked and some cracking to the veneer here and there, the bun feet to the base are not original, somewhere around the escutcheon and the mixing bowl to the interior is a modern replacement, overall a little tired.
