Richard BATTERHAM (1936-2021) Caddy and Cover Stoneware, 21cm.There is a firing flaw between the lid and the body of the pot, where it appears that a trickle of glaze has caused friction between the two. This presents itself as a chip approximatley 5cm in length and 1cm in width (please see additional images). Besides this, the piece is in good condition.

Stands upright, does not rock. Cover hinge is sturdy, lock catches a little but does open - lock not tested. Minor dings to edges of cover. In generally very good condition.

The marks are clear. The screw top works very well. No erasure or thinning. In generally very good condition.
