A late 19th century treen tea caddy, the cover having acorn finial and opening to reveal one compartment, with further turn-off section to reveal larger foil lined compartment, h.23cm. Thin rim of discolouration to upper and lower edge of main body (possibly glue from a label).Minor scuffs throughout.Colour faded (evenly).Foiled liner to main body is worn, particularly to bottom.

Provenance; Property of Bob Heath, Brandesburton Formerly of Ravenfield Hall Farm near Rotherham Condition Report Good condition, hinge good, lid closes flush to body, hallmarks good, no key, no dents, splits etc, appears to be no signs of restoration scratch mark along the base - visible in the photographs.
