A blue and white cylindrical Chinese 20th Century vase of a dragon chasing the pearl decoration, a Chinese cylindrical vase with flared rim and decorated with dragons amongst flowers with four character mark to base, a Chinese blue and white bowl with a shoo symbol to the centre, a blue and white ceramic tea caddy, a blue and white Chinese footed bowl decorated with four toed dragon, a Chinese teapot CONDITION REPORTS The bowl has been cracked and repaired in several places, has knife marks to the glaze, chips to the glaze. Tea caddy has several large chips to the rim and crazing all over, star cracks, discolouration etc. The fitted bowl has had significant damage, cracks. Areas have been off re-glued, pieces missing, discolouration, chips to the glaze all over etc. Teapot is missing lid, has been restored in various places especially to the rim with some re-painting inside, there are losses to the glaze. All items have general wear and tear to include firing faults, surface scratches, dirt etc - see image for further details
Silver flatware, comprising; a pair of Scottish fiddle pattern toddy ladles, Edinburgh 1824, two Victorian caddy spoons, a sugar sifting spoon, a Victorian preserve spoon, a teaspoon, two pairs of salt spoons, a pair of sugar tongs, having bright cut engraved decoration, circa 1800 and four foreign teaspoons, detailed Sterling, a pair of plated grape scissors and two further items, combined weight of weighable silver 291 gms, (19).
A late Victorian silver tea caddy by George Fox, London, 1900, oval with incurved pannelled sides and wavy rim, scroll borders and trefoil pad feet, domed pannelled cover with silver-mounted carved ivory pineapple finial, 15 cm. long, 15.5 cm. high, wt. 495 gm.Good condition, maker's mark worn on side and very worn in cover, ivory undamaged. No bruises.
A George III silver caddy spoon by John Bettridge, Birmingham, 1817, shaped oblong bowl engraved with ameoba patterns on textured ground; a George IV fiddle pattern shovel bowl caddy spoon by Taylor & Perry, Birmingham, circa 1825 (no date letter), engraved with flower and leaf spray on textured ground; and a German silver shovel bowl caddy spoon by Neresheimer of Hanau, with English sponsor's and import marks for Berthold Muller, Chester, 1910, with pierced foliate handle, bowl chased with Classical lyre player in oval textured and bead-edged reserve, wt. 31 gm.First has small splits to top edge of bowl and small repair to stem. Second one has repair to junction of handle and top of bowl. All with good marks and crisp engraving.
