A George III ebonised bracket clock, circa 1775, by Allam & Clements, London with caddy top and gilt brass swing handle and four flame finials above a glazed door enclosing a 7" brass dial with Roman numerals and scroll cast spandrels and marked Allam & Clements, London in the arch, date aperture, fish scale grills to the sides, the case enclosing a double fusee movement with verge escapement and striking on a bell, the back plate engraved with a basket of flowers and raised on gilt brass ogee bracket feet, moulding losses, 17" high, 9.5" wide, 7" deep.
A George III oak and mahogany crossbanded longcase clock, 18th century, the caddy top above a painted foliate frieze and square hood flanked by fluted brass capped pilasters enclosing a 10" brass dial with foliate engraved centre, Roman numerals and mask spandrels and marked Bennett, Cheadle, 30 hour movement striking on a bell above a shaped top, crossbanded trunk door, flanked by fluted quarter pilasters over an ogive moulding and raised baseboard and on ogee bracket feet, the dial possibly associated, 79" high
A good George III mahogany and inlaid tea caddy, circa 1785, the hinged rectangular cover inlaid with an oval satinwood and rosewood medallion, burr yew spandrels opening to reveal two lidded slide out canisters, harewood and rosewood crossbanded, the sides with star inlay, brass handle, height 15cm x width 22cm, 6 inches x 8 1/2 inches.
